Some resources that you may find helpful while you work to complete your degree in University Studies.

The Pirate Academic Success Center (PASC) offers course specific tutoring (both in-person and online), study groups, study skills coaching, and a whole lot more.

The University Writing Center offers one-on-one (in-person or virtual) writing consultations with students on individual papers and projects. They also have lots of digital resources and workshops on their website.

The Center for Communication Excellence can help students write, research, and prepare for speeches and presentations via on-on-one in-person or virtual consultations. They also offer workshops covering a range of topics from managing public speaking anxiety to speaking etiquette. Additionally, their website has several downloadable speaking tip sheets for you to access at your convenience.

ECU’s Career Services office offers one-on-one appoints for anything related to your career planning or search process. This includes resume and cover letter review, major or career planning, interview preparation, and so much more! Appointments and drop-in hours are offered both in-person and virtually. Be on the lookout for virtual job fairs as well!

ECU’s Financial Wellness Hub provides one-on-one financial coaching sessions, as well as group workshops and program. Topics include student loan repayment, saving/investing, and managing debt.

The Counseling Center offers individual and group counseling for all ECU students. The also provide substance use counseling, consultations, and wellness workshops.

Joyner Library helps students to access the resources they need to succeed in their studies. Students can check out books, computers, and other digital resources. Students can also find online e-books, journal articles, and lots of other scholarly resources through Joyner Library’s website.

Disability Support Services serves as a resource for both online and on-campus students who may need learning or environmental accommodations.
